INSTALLATION PROCESS

Our installation method is designed to be gentle, discreet and supportive of your natural hair, allowing it to grow freely while you wear your extensions. The result is a seamless finish that feels comfortable, looks natural and maintains the health of your hair long-term.

The Mane Baby Method involves no glues, braids or resins. Instead, we use a refined, damage-minimising approach that prioritises comfort, longevity and hair integrity.

To begin, we create a small, supportive track using a combination of your natural hair and silicone-lined micro cylinders. Each section is carefully balanced to ensure the support points remain strong and secure throughout the wear period, allowing the wefts to sit flat and discreet against the scalp.

Your extensions are then stitched onto the track using a durable thread and a specialised stitching technique. This ensures the wefts are held securely in place while remaining lightweight and flexible, allowing your hair to move naturally and comfortably.

Once installed, your extensions can be treated much like your natural hair. Following our Aftercare Protocol — including the use of sulfate-free products — is essential to maintaining the quality, softness and longevity of your extensions. Maintenance appointments are required every six weeks to lift the wefts, maintain discretion and ensure the health of your natural hair.
